Post-Treatment Care for Long-Lasting Results
Proper aftercare is essential for ensuring your permanent makeup heals beautifully and lasts as long as possible. Following a treatment, your skin needs time and the right care to recover and lock in the pigment. On this page, you’ll find all the tips and guidelines you need to protect your investment and maintain stunning, long-lasting results.
30 Minutes After Treatment
Gently dab freshly tattooed area with a damp cotton pad or slightly splash with lukewarm water and
pat dry to remove all the lymph and previously applied cream (always wash hands first!)
Repeat the process every 30 minutes for 2 hours. After 2 hours, apply TINY rice sized cream (for
both brows)
After 2 Hours
Repeat the above process every 2-3 hours until bedtime to keep the wound clean and avoid scab
formation.
Do your best to sleep on your back for the next week. Change out your pillow case (incase brow
touches pillow)
The Next 7 Days (Days 2-7)
Always wash hands before touching the brows...
Morning - Wash with provided soap. Rinse. Dry. Followed by cream.
Afternoon - Apply cream once (applied with q-tip) ONLY if dry!!
Night - Wash with provided soap. Rinse. Dry. Cream. Go to bed...
WHAT TO AVOID DURING HEALING:
Do not pick, scratch or peel the healing area
Do not apply any make-up or products on the eyebrows
Avoid sleeping on the face
Avoid direct sun exposure
Avoid working out to prevent sweating
Avoid water on eyebrows during shower for at least 7 days or until healed
Avoid facial massage, facial steaming, sauna, hot tubs, long hot showers hot baths, ANYTHING that can make you sweat.
The Next 30 Days
Avoid These Activities
Sunbathing
Solarium
Light therapies
Chemical peelings
Fruit acids
Microderm abrasion
Any creams containing regeneration factors
Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area (Fraxel Laser, IPL), because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.
Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to faster pigment fading.
The Healing Process
Day 1 - Dark & Swollen
Day 2-4 - Extra dark no longer swollen
Day 4-6 - Flaking. Not to be confused with scabbing. Following
proper aftercare on day one will prevent scabbing. Do
not pick or pull at flaking.
Day 30-35 - Fully Healed
