When I first got into the PMU industry, I was micoblading only. After about 1 year, I learned powder brows, lip blushing, and eyeliner. About 1 year after that, I took on nano brows because I KNEW it was going to be BIG. I could feel it…..

Many many times I wanted to quit. Why? Well to be honest, I never really struggle with retention. My brows always came back looking pretty good, as did my lip blushing and eyeliner clients. Yah yah yah, I know, humble brag…

I’m telling you this because when I first learned nano, I leaned a COMPLETELY different technique, and one that I could NOT MASTER. My healed results were completely hit or miss. My appointments took 4+ hours. My heart sank every time I’d see a new booking for nano brows. Whose heart SINKS when a nano client books?!? Yep, mine……

I felt like a fraud. My clients would pay good money to see me, wait months for their appointments, and then….. not so great healed work….. I REALLY wanted to throw in the towel and give up

BUT….. secretly, I love a challenge. I love a good “ima figure this out and master it” opportunity. So I pushed on…..

I trained with another master. I changed up EVERYTHING. My hand movement. My thought process. MY brow pattern. The overall aesthetic of my nano brows…..

I practiced and practiced on fake skin, then took on a client. With my new technique, I had faster appointment times, and could FEEL proper depth!!!! After she left, I would check in with her periodically. Every message she would tell me how GOOD hers brows looked, and how happy she was deciding to finally get her brows done!

Don’t give up. Ever.

Life is hard. PMU is hard. Nano is hard. How you tackle your “life problems”, might be exactly how you tackle your “nano brow” problems.
