So the times are a bit crazy….

Clients aren’t booking as easily……

Clients aren’t spending as much money on “self care”……

Maybe your local area has other artists charging HALF of what you charge……

I get it….. I was there as well….. AND…. I was going though this exact situation as well…. I STILL feel it…..

The first thing I did was SEPARATE myself for the crowd. I invested in myself, (which is investing in your BUSINESS), bettered my craft, and started offering a service that’s essentially VIP.  Ever notice how people, including yourself, are willing to spend MORE MONEY for a reputable product or service that’s high end and a bit “rare”. People are willing to spend their money on products and services that are VIP. If you offer nano, nano IS VIP.

So what are some things you can do to try and stay busy during this crazy time?

My number one rule is to always continue to better your craft and stay competitive! *clears throat “OFFER NANO!!”

Other things include…..recycling your photos? Yes, re-post photos that you have already posted before! Content is king and pictures/videos of your work, or fake skins, is what is going to attract clientele. It’s also important to remember that just because you only have 1 client doesn’t mean you can only post 1 photo! One photo can be the “after photo only”. One photo can be a “before and after” far away/full face. Another post can be an “up close before and after”. Maybe it’s a video of your client after their procedure! See where I’m going with this…

Are you in your local Mom and Beauty groups on Facebook? I capitalized on this in the beginning of my career. Instagram was not my moneymaker, it was Facebook! I do believe there is a different type of clientele on Facebook. Generally clients that are a bit older and more financially secure. I would get on these group and post my work once a week according to each groups rules.

Offer a deal to a few hairstylists that are busy and successful. Having a handful of hairstylists as clients, and other women that are in the beauty industry, was my saving grace. Today I still receive client referrals from these women because they are YOUR walking advertisements! They are in front of women all day long, and showing off their beautiful brows or other PMU….. Reach out via social media with an offer. Better yet, go meet them IN-PERSON, chat it up, make a friend, and shoot for referrals for BOTH of you

When posting, talk about why you are different! What makes you different from everybody else in the industry and how can you connect with your followers? Maybe you have an artistic background, talk about the long-term healed results of Nano Brows, talk about advanced training or techniques you have, and most importantly, learn how to sell without sounding like a used car salesman!

WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU POSTED A HEAD SHOT OF YOU?!?

Whatever you do, just don’t give up! As a business owner you’ll consistently need to grow and evolve. You’ll consistently need to change what you are doing, even if what you are doing is working ”OK”

WHAT I DID TO GET 20+ bookings in 2 days……

Get a mailchimp account (no, I’m not sponsored)….

Import all your client information from your payment platform (I use square)

Send everyone an email thanking them for being your loyal client, and reminding them to get in for a refresh BEFORE summer time….

Also, your annual color boost/touch up prices are likely TOO LOW!!!

Your annuals should cost about 70-80% of the 1st appointment!

As my “business advisor” always says, “just because others price themselves low or according to what “others” do, doesn’t make it right!”

My 1st appointment is 795

My 6-18 month touch up is 495

My 18-24 month touch up is 585

Your time is priceless and valuable…..

If you haven’t enrolled in my online nano brow course you can do that here!!

You can find all of my online course here!!!
